The framework is growing up. Now it has to go to work.

For years, we’ve been asking a question at Agentic1: **What would a business look like if its systems could remember, act and improve alongside the people running it?** We started with memory. Important decisions, conversations and knowledge should survive the meeting, the inbox and the person who happened to be there. Then came workflows and agents. Knowledge is useful. Knowledge that helps someone take the next step is considerably more interesting. The record of what happened and what needs attention next. Yes, that sounds like plumbing. Civilisation has done rather well out of plumbing. We’re just asking ours to be a little more intelligent—and to know when a human needs to turn the tap.
